We assist a number of estate property managers and their contractors to carry out high level maintenance work, electrical work, roofing surveys, property maintenance, cleaning work and tree surgery etc.
We have available for hire with operator our Iveco vehicle mounted access platform, which has a 12.5m Skyking boom. Maximum working height 12.5m, maximum outreach 6.7m.
We also have available for any specialist/difficult access areas, our 18.75 narrow access tracked Spider. Maximum working height 18m, maximum outreach 7.5m. This machine is very versatile, with AC mains electricity for indoor use or silent works, it has a diesel-powered engine for outdoor use. The Spider has a 2-man basket, low marking tracks and can fit through a 782mm standard pedestrian doorway.
In many situations, mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) provide safe and quick access and a secure working platform. This assists us and our clients to follow HSE good practice guidelines and meet requirements under the Working at Height Regulations 2005 (as amended).
We use the platform to provide safe access when carrying out grounds maintenance activities, tree work, hedge maintenance, gutter cleaning and repairs.
We currently work with facilities managers throughout the north east and Cumbria, and assist contractors to carry their duties:
- property maintenance
- roof surveys / repairs
- electrical maintenance / street light / CCTV
- arboriculture work
- window cleaning / cladding cleaning
- banner installation
We are accredited members of Safe Contractor and will complete risk assessments and method statements before work commencement.
All our operators have undergone IPAF operator training and hold a powered access licence (PAL) card.
Our MEWP is thoroughly examined every six months to meet requirements under the Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998.
